Rental Rules

Guidelines & Requirements


  • All tobacco products are prohibited
  • Alcohol allowed by City-issued permit ONLY
  • All rentals will be limited to a maximum of 12 hours for every 24 hour period
  • All reservations should be made at least 14 days prior to the event date; to make reservations please call (940) 567-5468; the appropriate deposit and completed rental agreement are required to guarantee you reservation
  • Cancellations must be made at least seven days prior to the reservation date in order to receive a full refund; cancellations made less than seven days prior to the reservation date will be subject to loss of deposit.
  • Classroom rentals will include the use of the gymnasium / game room only during normal operating hours; classroom rentals that extend beyond normal operating hours will also be charged the gymnasium rate for banquets, reunions, etc.
  • No rentals will be allowed to extend beyond midnight
  • Patrons who rent any of the Twin Lakes Community Activity Center (TLCAC) facilities for multiple days at a time will receive a 20% discount off of the rental fees; this discount does not apply to “after hours” fees; multiple days will be considered as:
    • Any three days, or more, reserved at the same time, by the same person or entity
    • Three or more consecutive days
    • Three or more days in successive weeks or months (i.e. every Tuesday in January, or the third Friday of every month)
  • Private caterers are allowed at no additional cost
  • Rentals will not be allowed to begin before noon on Sundays
  • Reservations for the upcoming calendar year may be made beginning October 1 of the current calendar year (i.e. a reservation in 2010 may be made beginning October 1, 2009)
  • Reservations must be paid in full at least seven days prior to the event date; any reservation not paid for by this time will be subject to cancellation and loss of deposit; the TLCAC accepts cash, money order, or personal checks for payment; payment may be made in person at the TLCAC or mailed to:

  • There will be an “after hours” charge of $6 per hour for any event that is schedule outside of the normal operating hours of the TLCAC for staffing purposes
