Back to Space The Lunar Landscape Experience

The Moon Will Be Landing in Jacksboro Texas. Back to Space (BTS) and the Aldrin Foundation are planning a Guinness World Book of Records, 254,447 square foot map of the Moon on Hwy 59, north of town. Bus loads of kids and tourist from around the world will be able to come to this Jacksboro destination to explore and walk on the Moon!

This one-of-a-kind, explore-able map will host celebrations and special events, rocket launch competitions, educational sessions, summer camps and more. The technology will showcase Virtual and Augmented Reality at its finest. Visitors will explore the Apollo landing sites, and even use AR to get selfies with the astronauts who walked there.

In addition, the site will include a lunar simulator that allows each person to experience the 1/6th gravity of the Moon - while navigating a fun obstacle course.

The sky isn’t the limit on this project. Schools, families, clubs and enthusiasts can all come to Jacksboro to explore, entertain, and learn more about the Moon.
