IS REQUIRED ON ALL ACCESSORY BLDGS, RENOVATIONS, ADD-ON/NEW CONSTRUCTION
NEW CONSTRUCTION: 2 sets of site plans are required to accompany this permit application. Every foundation and/or footing, or any size addition to an existing post-tension foundation, regulated by this code shall be designed and sealed by a Texas-registered engineer. A REScheck and COMcheck are required on all new Residential and Commercial Builds.
Applicant needs to complete the following spaces. State "NA" to those sections that do not apply to the structure or work being performed.

UNDER PENALTY OF INTERNATIONAL MISREPRESENTATION AND/OR PERJURY, I DECLARE THAT I HAVE EXAMINED AND/OR MADE THIS APPLICATION AND IT IS TRUE AND CORRECT TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE AND BELIEF, I AGREE TO CONSTRUCT SAID IMPROVEMENT IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL PROVISIONS OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JACKSBORO. I realize that the information that I have stated hereon forms a basis for the issuance of the Building Permit herein applied for and approved of any plans in connection therewith shall not be construed to permit any construction upon said premises or use thereof in violation of any provision of the Jacksboro City Code or any other ordinance or to excuse the owner or his successors from complying therewith. WHERE NO WORK HAS BEEN STARTED WITHIN 180 DAYS AFTER THE ISSUANCE OF A PERMIT OR WHEN MORE THAN 180 DAYS LAPSES BETWEEN APPROVAL OF REQUIRED INSPECTIONS. SUCH PERMIT SHALL BE VOID. I hereby certify that I am the owner at this address or that, for the purpose of obtaining this approval. I am acting on behalf of the owner. All contract work on this project will be done by a contractor holding a valid privilege tax license and contractor’s license issued by the State of Texas and the City of Jacksboro.
The granting of a permit does not presume to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of any other state or local law relating to construction, nor does it give authorization or approval of encroach on any easement or property or violate any deed restrictions.
The City of Jacksboro shall never be liable for any damage or loss by reason of the issuance hereof. Each holder and other persons acting under authority of this permit are personally responsible for compliance with all the State and Local provisions, whether or not specified herein, and assume the entire risks incidental to the work being permitted.
I understand per City of Jacksboro Zoning Ordinance Section 6-402 No accessory building, other than a servant's quarters, guest houses and garage apartments located in districts where the same are permitted, shall be used for dwelling purposes.
I understand construction debris cannot be dumped within the city limits nor at the city’s transfer station. I understand it is my responsibility to make arrangements for the dumping/discarding of construction debris.

INSPECTIONS REQUIREDOnce the Building Permit has been approved the following list of inspections are required:
* Stakeout InspectionStakeout with property lines marked so properly located, as approved on site plan.
* Plumbing and Electrical Rough-in InspectionUnderground electrical and plumbing. A form board will need to be approved by the City prior to the installation of any plumbing.
* Foundation InspectionRequested after the underground Plumbing and Electrical has been inspected. The foundation will be inspected according to the approved foundation plans.
* Framing InspectionFraming will be inspected according to the approved building plans.
* Electircal, Mechanical, Plumbing TopoutWill be inspected before the insulation is installed.
* Final InspectionsBefore the Certificate of Occupancy is issued a final inspection is required.
Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Drive Approach, and Pool permits may be taken out by licensed contractors. The contractor, the general contractor, or the property owner may call for inspections by calling 940-567-6321 to request an inspection. Inspection requested between 8:00am - 5:00pm will be inspected the following day.
All fees shall apply; except that if any person shall make an application for a permit as provided in this division, after the work has been started or after the work has been partially completed or concealed, such persons shall pay double the fee or fees which would ordinarily be required.
