The following is information compiled to assist with your Application for a Place on the City of Jacksboro General Election Ballot, as well as campaigning.
Additional information can be found at the Texas Ethics Commission website and the Texas Secretary of State website through the links provided above. Please keep in mind the important dates listed in the "CALENDARS" section as forms will not be received before nor after the dates specified. May 4, 2024 Candidate Forms Packet
Thre first day to file for a Place on the General Election Ballot is Wednesday, January 17, 2024. The final day to file is Friday, February 16, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. The Candidate Forms Packet may be picked up in the City Secretary's Office, 112 W. Belknap Street, Jacksboro, Texas, beginning on January 17, 2024 for your convenience. All forms must be returned and filed with the City Secretary on or prior to the filing deadline.
